Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB)

The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) was established on 1 November 1973 as an independent recruitment agency in pursuance of the recommendations of the Gajendragadkar Committee.
ASRB invites applications from the desirous eligible candidates for direct recruitment to the following scientific posts under different institutes and headquarters of ICAR .

1. Director of National Institutes of Deemed University Status
2. Assistant Director General/Director/Project Director/Joint Director
3. Head of Division/Project Coordinator
4. Principal Scientist

Application Fee :  Crossed Demand Draft for Rs.500/- drawn in favour of SECRETARY, ASRB payable at New Delhi (India). For the candidates abroad, the application fee should be accompanied with a crossed International Bank Draft for US $ 20 drawn in favour of SECRETARY, ASRB payable at New Delhi (India). However, the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH/Women category are exempted from paying the application fee.
How to Apply :
The closing date for receipt of filled in application at ASRB is 02/09/2011. Last date is 16/09/2011 for the candidate from abroad/remote areas.
