Bidar Institute of Medical Sciences (BIMS), Bidar was established in 2006. The college is an autonomous institution of the Government of Karnataka. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. Bidar Institute of Medical Sciences is approved by Medical Council of India (MCI), Government of India and recognized by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The educational institute admits students to their undergraduate level programme in the field of medical sciences - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
