Panjab University is one of the oldest universities  in India. The university campus is residential, spread over an area of 550 acres (2.2 km2) in sectors 14 and 25 of the city of Chandigarh. The main administrative and academic buildings are located in sector 14, beside a health centre, a sports complex, hostels and residential housing. The university has 58 teaching and research departments and 10 centres/chairs for teaching and research at the main campus located at Chandigarh. It has 172 affiliated colleges spread over Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh  and Chandigarh, Regional Centres at Muktsar, Ludhiana, Hoshiarpur, and Swami Sarvanand Giri Panjab University Regional Centre, Hoshiarpur.

Technician
Qualifications : M.Sc. at least 2nd class in the subjects Physics/Chemistry/Bio- Technology/ Bio-Physics/ Bio-Chemistry/ Electronics/ Instrumentation
Pay Scale : Rs. 14000- 20000.
Job  Requirements : “The candidate should have knowledge/experience of the sophisticated Scientific instruments such as NMR, LC-MS/MS, SEM/TEM, XRD etc. The candidate should have the capability to operate and maintain the instruments available at the CIL/SAIF”.
