A heartwarming story of a regular tea stall owner feeding the poor daily without taking any money from them is being reported from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
The Madhya Pradesh state government had started Deenadayal Rasoi to deliver food to poor and weaker sections at five rupees a meal, but it collapsed in a month for want of donors.
On the other hand, there's Maqbool Ahmad, a humble tea stall owner, who started feeding a few poor people on 1st May 2013, with the money he earned from selling tea.
Soon, the numbers increased and now, on an average, Makbool Ahmad feeds 300 people every day. Seeing his generosity, many others have stepped in to chip in money, so that the good deed continues and reaches more people.
Maqbool Ahmad tells News18 that this Allah's Kitchen can serve even more poor people, if needed.
The poor, the destitute, the migrants who land up in the city and end up without options are all among those who are touched by the generosity of Makbool Ahmad and his donors.
Seeing his effort, it is said that many people want to establish three more such centers in the city.
